With the increased focus on our economy and larger banks, many of our members have asked about the safety of their money and Oklahoma Federal Credit Union.
We want to assure you that your money is safe with Oklahoma Federal. First, all accounts are insured by NCUSIF (the credit union equivalent to FDIC) for at least $100,000 and then on top of that, your Credit Union provides an additional $250,000 of insurance on your deposits through Excess Share Insurance.
Secondly, your Credit Union has never participated in high-risk predatory lending practices. We continue to be one of the highest rated Credit Unions in the State and Country.
