Important information about procedures for opening a new account:

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means to you:  When you open an account, we will ask your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We may also ask to see your drivers license or other identifying documents.

Share Draft Checking Accounts

A checking account from Oklahoma Federal Credit Union offers you the savings and convenience you want to manage your personal finances.  We have several accounts to choose from:

Dividend Paying Checking:  No service charge with $300 minimum balance, $5.00 service charge if minimum balance is not met.  FREE Debit/ATM card include.

FREE Checking:  No minimum balance, unlimited check writing, FREE Debit/ATM Card and much more!  Direct Deposit or $300.00 minimum balance required.

Money Market Checking Account:  Premium rate over share draft checking.  Dividends based on average balance, paid monthly.  No service charge with $1,000 minimum  balance.  Limited transactions per month.  Rate paid based upon balance.

Over-Draft Line of Credit

Avoid paying those annoying overdraft fees by getting your own Overdraft Line of Credit.  It can be conveniently accessed just by writing a check.  It gives you an extra cushion without charging an access fee and you only pay interest on the money you borrow.

ATM/Debit Cards

  These cards are available with a checking account.  The debit card allows you to use it like a check where VISA is accepted and also as an ATM Card.

The ATM Card can be used to make inquires, withdrawals, transfers, and deposits twenty four hours a day.

There is no limit on debit card transactions and the first ten ATM transactions are free each month.

Insured Savings

Every account at Oklahoma Federal Credit Union is insured up to $350,000.  The first $100,000 is provided by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the federal government.  And the additional $250,000 is an extra member service provided by Oklahoma Federal Credit Union through Excess Share Insurance. 

IRA accounts are insured for an additional $100,000 by NCUA.

FREE Life Insurance

This benefit is provided for all members at no cost.  The Life Insurance is up to $2000.00 and is based on age at the time of deposit.  Benefits are doubled if death is accidental.

Each member also receives a FREE $1000.00 Accidental Death Insurance Policy.  Please ask for a certificate for full details, on your coverage.

Credit Disability and Credit Life Insurance

For a low monthly fee added to your loan, credit life insurance pays the insured balance of your loan, up to the policy maximum in the event of your death.  This ensures your family will not be left with your loan debt.  Ask your loan officer for details on your next visit.
